The PDP 2018 Plan for Renewable Energy contributes about 20% of the total energy today. It is considered to be one of the key drivers of the economy. The focus is on low-cost electricity production and the growing need for technology that can help renewable energy achieve its target. In particular, the solar cell will play an important role in driving the economy.
The story of BIG DATA, A and IOT, is integrated with smart devices that can communicate with each other. These will become an everyday solution; in terms of efficient energy management and Energy Efficiency will come to play a greater role.
This is an important event, as the world adopts EV. Thailand Energy & the EV Market will explode with demand as more models are available and charging stations become common-place. Sustainable Energy is gaining global attention for helping create a better world and is reducing both carbon emissions and temperatures.
The reason we choose ASEAN Sustainable Energy week was because the show's reputation as the biggest event on energy efficiency and conservation. Also, it is fully supported by Ministry of Energy and we see the excellent business opportunities in Thailand for our Japanese companies. At this show we have brought Fuji Electric and Kawasaki to present their business solutions for the industries and next year we intend to bring more energy-related Japanese companies.
This is our good show. Many visitors are very interested and come to our booth with enquiry. After the show we also able to continue our business with the visitors those we get the contact from this event to have further discussion and have business with them.
Electric Vehicle technology will become the answer for the automotive industry. This is an important issue because Thailand is the automotive production base of the world and ASEAN. The Thai automotive industry is adjusting to support this direction in terms of reducing pollution and supporting the industrial export business as well. Currently, we still have to rely on imports, but in the next 4-5 years, we expect to see increased domestic production.
