At COP26, Thailand has set our aspirational target of carbon emission peak year by 2030 with a strong determination to attain carbon neutrality by 2050 and net-zero greenhouse gas emission by 2065. BCG Model is the role model to optimize the resource use, foster sustainable economic growth and enhance well-being of the community. BCG guidelines will help Thailand to improve energy supply chain by maximizing the energy resource utilization and reducing energy dependency from other countries

The Asia Pacific Urban Energy Association (APUEA) is a member-based sector association with a mission to promote Sustainable Urban Energy in the Asia Pacific Region. We focus on Urban Energy because cities occupy only 2% of the world's landmass but consume over two-thirds of the world's energy, and account for more than 70% of global CO2-emissions. So, cities play a key role in the energy transition and to meet climate targets like carbon neutrality by mid-century. So, it is important to address heating and cooling, and especially cooling in Thailand and ASEAN countries.
ASEW is a well-established event for more than 3. Decades and the largest event in ASEAN on the topics Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Environmental, Bio Energy and EV Technology, the event offers a great platform to drive the energy transition in Thailand and the ASEAN region. It is a platform to meet and network with local and international industry professionals through seminars, workshops, exhibitions and get contacts for future collaboration and business.
The Energy transition to a sustainable future cannot wait!
JGSEE is the joint graduated school of environmental and academic institute. We do believe that the current situation of energy in Thailand and ASEAN will be move toward to the concept of the carbon neutrality and the net zero greenhouse gas as proposed by the government in the COP26 event. We have the aim in Thailand like we are going to reach the target of carbon neutrality in 2050, also the net zero greenhouse gas emission in the 2065.
We do believe that the knowledge sharing and technical sharing among experts and participants are very important. So ASEW event, we invited a lot of expert around the world to share the knowledge to participants in Thailand and also in ASEAN. So, we do we believe that this kind of event are going to be very useful for the people who's in the energy sector or the environmental sector to fulfil or to understand the concept of carbon neutrality and net zero greenhouse gas.
We, Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research or TISTR, is a state enterprise under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. TISTR has recognized the importance of R&D in renewable energy and clean energy for a long time. TISTR is the first Thai research institution in collaboration with Japan to develop ethanol from agricultural materials with saving energy production. This is an origin of various gasohol formulas used as various alternative fuels in the present.
Here in ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week 2022, where gathering entrepreneurs, manufacturers, equipment distributors, including providing meeting venues and exhibition areas on technology related to renewable energy and clean energy. As one research institute to conduct research on renewable energy and clean energy in Thailand. We believe that all knowledge arising from this event could help to drive Thailand towards a sustainable society according to the Government's BCG economy concept definitely.
Thailand Energy Storage Technology Association or TESTA as the association which aim to promote, research and development and promotion of usage and integration of energy storage in Thailand.
The direction of electrical energy storage used in electric vehicle industry, we know that mostly battery right now, due to high energy density of battery which enable the electric vehicle's growth.
As we know that the electric vehicle is the major application for energy storage and vice versa. The energy storage is the main key enable to electric vehicle growth and usage. Therefore, Electric Vehicle Asia is one of leading conference at which we could use and partner together in order to be able to promote the growth and exchange and do the networking at the event.
EVAT is a non-profit association, aiming to promote and support knowledge exchange in electric vehicle technology and innovation.
To drive the country's electrification plan, the National EV policy committee has already announced ZEV target, aiming to achieve around 50% of all newly registration cars as ZEV within 2030. Thailand has a very clear target to achieve around 20 percent greenhouse gas reduction by 2030. The country's working group on greenhouse gas reduction plan has also drawn up a roadmap for different sectors, including the energy and transport sectors.
As a co-organizer of EV Asia and iEVTech over the last many years, we see new opportunities in the new electric vehicle industries. This is truly an international platform where all the experts in the fields of researchers, developers, policy makers and EV related suppliers will come to the same venue.
